Shipping Policies

At Tyler Gray Models (TGM), we take great care to properly package and ship all orders in a timely manner.

Carrier Responsibility

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, the shipment becomes the responsibility of the carrier. Tyler Gray Models is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages once they are in transit.

Carrier tracking marked as “Delivered” constitutes fulfillment of the order.

In the event a package is lost or damaged during transit, TGM may assist the customer in initiating a claim with the carrier when possible. However, final resolution is subject to the carrier’s policies and procedures, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Shipping Insurance

Shipping insurance is not included by default unless explicitly stated.

Customers who wish to protect their shipment against loss or damage must request and purchase additional insurance prior to shipment. Any added insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If shipping insurance is declined or not requested, Tyler Gray Models assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage once the shipment is tendered to the carrier.


International Shipping

Tyler Gray Models does not collect sales tax, VAT, customs duties, tariffs, or import fees at checkout for international orders.

  • International customers are solely responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, and import charges imposed by the destination country.

  • Both merchandise value and shipping costs may be subject to taxation or tariffs.

  • Orders refused, delayed, or abandoned due to unpaid duties, taxes, or tariffs are non-refundable.

  • Any return shipping, storage, or disposal fees resulting from refusal or non-payment are the responsibility of the customer.


Tariffs & Trade Fees (U.S. & International)

Due to ongoing changes in global trade regulations, tariffs or import fees may be assessed by government authorities before or after shipment.

  • Tyler Gray Models has no control over tariff assessments, rates, or enforcement.

  • Any tariffs, trade duties, customs surcharges, or related fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Tariffs or trade-related charges are not grounds for order cancellation, refusal, or refund.


Shipping Timeframes

In-Stock Items

Most in-stock products ship the next business day, provided the item is available.

Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays unless prior arrangements are made.

Out-of-Stock & Special Orders

Any item not currently in stock at Tyler Gray Models is considered a special-order item.

  • Special-order items may ship directly from Vario Helicopter Germany or may ship to Tyler Gray Models first and then be forwarded to the customer.

  • TGM has limited control over factory production schedules, inventory availability, customs processing, and carrier transit times.

  • Upon placing a special-order item, customers will be notified of estimated processing and shipping timelines based on information provided by the manufacturer or supplier.

  • Shipping timelines may change due to factory availability, customs clearance, or carrier delays.

Delivery Estimates

All delivery dates provided by TGM, carriers, manufacturers, or third parties are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Customers are encouraged to place orders well in advance to avoid delays related to production schedules, customs processing, or shipping carrier transit times.

Tracking information will be provided once the order has shipped. Significant updates will be communicated when available.


Return Policy

Eligible Returns

Returns are accepted only for:

  • Manufacturing defects or workmanship issues

  • Fulfillment errors (incorrect items shipped)

Return Conditions

  • Items must be new, unused, unassembled, and in original packaging

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery

  • Prior approval is required before returning any item

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, except in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects or fulfillment errors.

Restocking Fee

A 30% restocking fee applies to approved, non-defective returns.

No restocking fee applies to confirmed manufacturing defects.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

Exclusions

  • Special-order and custom items are non-returnable, unless defective

  • Returns received without prior approval or outside policy terms may be refused

  • TGM reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet these conditions


Special Orders

  • Any item not in stock is considered a special order

  • Special-order items cancelled before shipment are subject to a 15% restocking fee, calculated from the item’s list price

  • Special orders cannot be cancelled once shipped


Agreement to Terms

By placing an order with Tyler Gray Models, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all shipping, return, insurance, tariff, and special-order policies outlined above.
