Ready-made, pre-cut decal sheets simplify the finishing stage of helicopter construction very greatly, not to mention the enormous time saving.
It is best to use the "soapy water" method for applying large transfers, particularly when they are to be stuck onto curved surfaces. The wet transfer can then be slid around on the surface, allowing accurate positioning before you press it down into place.
