Following on from our successful PHT3, a miniature turbine engine has been created that opens up completely new possibilities. Renowned providers of helicopter models have in the class up to 1.7 m rotor diameter a variety of attractive heli-replicas with extensive accessories in the program - now there is also the right mini turbine to do so! The PHT2 is offered as a compact single-shaft engine with a complete mechanical design. The power of the engine is taken directly from the turbine rotor. The core engine is based on the proven P60, which has been optimized for shaft performance. In a torsion-resistant aluminum frame, the powertrain consisting of turbine, centrifugal clutch, starter generator, rotor shaft with freewheel and tail rotor output is housed. The mechanics are complemented by already mounted servo mounts for a powerful 4-point linkage, platforms for gyros or other components, as well as numerous mounting options.
Real turbine power "in miniature"
Weight- and performance-optimized turbine drive, ideal for helicopters with a rotor diameter of up to 1.7 m and a maximum take-off weight of 10 kg
Rotary direction of rotation (left / right) freely selectable
Choice of 2 Rotor RPM (1400 or 1600) – select when ordering
Rotor decoupled by centrifugal clutch and freewheel from drive (rotor is idling)
Easy-maintenance, low-noise toothed belt transmission in the primary stages
Special gearing in the last gear stage, for smooth running and safe traction
Starter generator for charging the operating battery
Precision ceramic ball bearings in the engine for low-maintenance operation
Integrated kerosene direct start
JetCat turbine electronics:
Speed controller for constant rotor speed
Freely programmable system
Turbine starts without compressed air or blower
Automated after-cooling of the turbine after switching off
Plain text display of the current operating parameters such as. Speed, temperature, pump voltage, battery voltage, fuel consumption, residual fuel, last runtime, total runtime, etc.
Memory ID chip: All settings / data are stored on the turbine side, automatic turbine detection.
