The collective pitch adjustment gauge is used to set the angle of incidence (pitch) of the main rotor blades. Generally speaking a range of - 3° to + 8° is sufficient. The adjustment gauge runs from - 15° to + 15° to cope with any possible application.
For flybar rotor heads you set the flybar horizontal, clip the gauge on one blade and check that the outside frame is parallel to the flybar. The integral spirit level now lets you set up even rigid heads without difficulty. The indicator follows the pitch of the blade, and you can read off the pitch angle directly on the scale.

Guide pitch values for normal flight
  • Minimum approx. - 3°
  • Hover approx. + 4° - + 5°
  • Maximum approx. + 8° - + 10°
(depends on the available engine performance)

These basic settings apply to all our offered rotor systems in adherence to the safety rules regarding the maximum rotor speed.
Only for 5-blade rotor heads the max. pitch settings are slightly less. Collective pitch gauge, for rotor blades from 40 mm to 82 mm chord.
