The Robinson R22 is the first VARIO scale helicopter in the 600 size with electric drive. An awesome concept for beginners and people who like it easy, but appreciate quality and sustainability with local product support and excellent spare parts supply. For example, as a teaching project for young people or for newcomers to the hobby. It is just as suitable for experienced pilots who are looking for a compact model helicopter for spontaneous after-work flights. The low energy consumption allows long flight times (approx. 10 minutes at 5000 mAh). The system speed is 1300 rpm which is a controller opening of about 65%.

The helicopter model has excellent flight characteristics. It flies smooth and easy, even in windy conditions. You get the impression it flies by itself.

Robinson Helicopter is the creator of the man-carrying version and produces this helicopter. The R22 is one of the best-selling helicopters in the world.

Our propulsion recommendation for this helicopter (Ord.No. 6022, 6122, 6222)! Single-stage mechanics with low number of parts which can be installed as universal mechanics in further Vario helicopters of the 600 series. The new tail rotor is easy to adjust with its plastic gears and is rigidly driven. It is optimally accessible for pre-flight check and maintenance.

Electric motors are quiet, low in vibration, without exhaust gases and residual thrust. The blade slap noise sound of the rotor blades is more noticeable than with other types of propulsion and the result is a true-to-life impression in flight.
