The
Kamov KA-32 is a VARIO scale helicopter in the
550 size with electric propulsion. The Kamov is suitable for technically interested people who are looking for a compact model helicopter with sophisticated mechanics. The system speed is 1300 rpm with a controller opening of 70-75%.
Kamov is the originator of the man-carrying version. In Europe, especially the Kamov KA-32 of Heliswiss reached impressive fame with its special missions in transporting heavy loads.
VARIO offers 2 complete sets (everything except the electronics) to choose from. They are both identical in terms of coaxial mechanics, rotor head components, rotor blades, scale wheel landing gear and 3D scale parts. The bulkhead is easy to align (2-piece) and made of wood.
Features of Ord.No. 3210:- GRP, red colored - decals included, application instructions here
- all relevant cut-outs in the GRP (windows, doors, landing gear etc.) available, no more dusty work
- milled windows ready for assembly
Features of the Ord.No. 3200:- unpainted fuselage without cutouts, which allows individual paint jobs
Available drive:Coaxial mechanics Ord.No. 320/22, included in the kitOur drive recommendation for this helicopter
- electric mechanics for 6s LiPo, approx. 5000 mAh
- designed for 4 midi servos (KST X15-908, Ord.No. 5155)
- 4 mounting points for installation in the fuselage
- hollow shafts 1x 10mm, 1x 8mm
- rotor heads
- 2-stage gearbox: 1st stage spur gears, 2nd stage bevel gears, gear ratio 1:12,97
- Coaxial mechanics from Vario adapted to the conditions in the scale model
- The gear is controlled by the hollow rotor shaft. This acts on the upper rotor. The correction of the lower rotor is done by a mixing function of the transmitter (mixer "Gear on Pitch").
The mechanics are filigree and visually appealing, but at the same time require above-average skill and sensitivity during assembly and adjustment. The entire mechanical structure is significantly more complex than conventional helicopter mechanics. It is important to understand how it works before attempting to build this mechanic. For this, we recommend viewing the Vario building instructions.
Electric motors are quiet, low vibration, with no exhaust fumes or residual thrust. The beating of the rotor blades is more noticeable than with other types of drive and a prototypical impression is created in flight. For this electric mechanics in combination with this model VARIO offers a drive set for 6S LiPos.
