The "small JetRanger" from VARIO is a 650 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with electric propulsion. Bell Helicopter is the creator of the man-carrying version. The legendary Bell 206B Jet Ranger III is one of the most successful helicopters ever built. It flies in all climate zones, in the Arctic, the jungle, and in many deserts. The Series 206 completed many missions, and achieved many records. Its versatility made it not only the most popular commercial helicopter, it also shaped the industry standards for safety.

For VARIO's 650 "JetRanger III" we recommend a maximum main rotor speed of 1600 rpm. Electric drive sets from VARIO are already tuned to this head speed.

Skyfox-Electric Mechanics

The Skyfox mechanics is a classic, VARIO original product. Where glow plug nitro engines used to be, today a small, powerful electric motor drives your rotorcraft. Skyfox, that stands for lightness as it is desired in electric flight resulting in longer flight times. The kit with Ord.No. 1006 contains the frames for the Skyfox mechanics. The fuselage doesn't provide functional doors, but with a little skill and initiative you can exchange or charge the batteries via an individually created revision opening. You can choose between two Skyfox drive sets: for 6S or 10S LiPos.

X-Treme-Electric Mechanics

Light and torsion-resistant electro-mechanics derived from the proven variant for nitro based fuels. The purple anodised aluminium elements are characteristic of this model. Kit Ord.No. 1006 is intended for the installation of these mechanics. The fuselage doesn't provide functional doors, but with a little skill and initiative you can exchange or charge the batteries via an individually created revision opening. Drive sets for 10S and 12S LiPos are available.
