High centrifugal forces cannot be absorbed by a radial bearing. For that application we use a 3-part thrust bearing (axial bearing) consisting of a loose ring, a ball cage and a fixed ring: the parts are installed in this sequence.
The dimensions of a ballrace mean:
inside diameter (I.D.) x outside diameter (O.D.) x thickness.
