One of the main reasons for the popularity of the "trainer" type of model helicopters is their excellent all-round access to the mechanics once the canopy has been removed.
The icing on the cake is to fit our quick-release canopy retainers, because then you don't even need to use screws to retain the canopy. The three small openings in the centre and on both sides of the canopy are each fitted with protective rubber grommets which are simply pushed over the corresponding ball-end bolts.
The ball-end bolts are screwed to the same points where the knurled screws are usually fitted.
