Sound-damping material

"Silencing" a model helicopter means more than working on the exhaust system. Since all fuselages are hollow bodies they inevitably resonate. Resonance amplifies the sound and makes it much louder.
This sound-damping material breaks up the vibration and reduces noise levels considerably.
The material is self-adhesive, and is applied to all the inside surfaces of the fuselage. The mat moulds well into corners and rounded areas. Window openings are covered from the inside, then cut out again from the outside using a sharp knife. No glue residue will adhere if you wet the knife before each cut.
