Any helicopter which regularly has to fly below the legally prescribed minimum altitude (e.g. for rescue purposes) is fitted with indispensable "WSPS" equipment - Wire Strike Protection Systems. Although very expensive, they are very good value if they safe a pilot's life, and they also help to minimise damage to the helicopter.
Please note: we certainly don't advise trying the full-size manoeuvre, which would entail flying your model through an overhead cable!
