The "small UH-1D" from VARIO is a 750 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with electric propulsion. Bell Helicopter is the creator of the man-carrying version. Following the full size helicopter the model also has an exceptionally long rotor shaft. In comparison to the Bell 205, the 204 version has a shorter cabin.
For VARIO's 750 "Huey" we recommend a maximum main rotor speed of 1500 rpm. Electric drive sets from VARIO are already tuned to this head speed.

Skyfox-Electric Mechanics
The Skyfox mechanics is a classic, VARIO original product. Where glow plug nitro engines used to be, today a small, powerful electric motor drives your rotorcraft. Skyfox, that stands for lightness as it is desired in electric flight resulting in longer flight times. The kit with Ord.No. 1100 contains the frames for the Skyfox mechanics. For this electromechanical system we offer a drive set for 6S LiPos.
Around the world there are countless legends about the Bell 204 that make them so popular. Better known as UH-1 Iroquois or, above all, by her nickname Huey, derived from the original designation HU-1. The list of all variants of the Bell 204 / 205 helicopters would be too large to write here. The differences were in the engine, but also in the equipment: eg
UH-1D - This version of the Bell 205 was used by the German army
UH-1V - Rescue and recovery version with winch
TH-1A - Training helicopters
Dornier built in Germany a total of 348 Bell 205 UH-1D for the Army and the Federal Border Police, mainly used as an observation helicopter and important part of the SAR Air Force.
