Longer rotor shafts are indispensable if you are building a scale version of a UH-1B, UH-1D or Bell 430, and in this case the rotor shaft must be of 12 mm Ø.
This petrol mechanical system includes a 90 : 18 reduction ratio, and its components are designed for a rotor disc diameter of 1800 mm. The swashplate, annular clamp and dome bearing etc. are the correct size for a 12 mm Ø rotor shaft.
When selecting the rotor head please ensure that its hub also features a 12 mm Ø bore: a typical example is the two-blade rotor head (Ord. No. 1005/61) for a rotor diameter of 1800 mm. Other specialised rotor heads from our range, such as the SKS semi-scale rotor head, Ord. No. 702/80, can be found in our main catalogue and if you scroll down on that page.
The mechanics is supplied in kit-form, i.e. not assembled; excl. motor. Mechanics like Ord.No. 1002/21 but for 12 mm main rotor shaft.
Without motor and petrol components (see Ord.No. 26/100).
