Bellows

Bellows are used by Eurocopter in all their full-size helicopters, while Bell Helicopters uses them primarily in the Jet Ranger, Long Ranger, Huey and Bell 47 ranges. Fitted at the pass-through points of cables and pushrods these flexible sleeves keep out dust, oil exhaust fumes and foreign bodies.
In model helicopters these bellows make perfect imitation fairings for rotor shafts and struts, and also form effective dummy shock absorbers on undercarriages.
