The full-size machine features folding recessed external door handles fitted with a door lock, but emulating this on a model would scarcely be worth the considerable effort. We think our solution is a reasonable compromise: it looks scale, but it has no function.

The internal door handles on the full-size helicopter are an integral part of the window frames, but you will have to use your own imagination if you wish to simulate those.
